On the opposite side of the curtain, Russia's leader Wladimir Putin is an expert and black belt in Judo. He learned Judo during his time at the KGB and regularly practices the sport today.

Pop superstars such Madonna started Karate with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie who has a black belt in the Japanese martial art. She also kept the sport up, after the divorce with Guy. Madonna hired even a personal coach, also known as a sensei to perfect her skills.

Michael Jackson had a black belt in Kung-Fu. His former bodyguard and friend Matt Fides said, that Michael was one of the best martial artists he had ever seen. He says that martial arts are very similar to dancing, that's why Michael Jackson was so good at it.

The king of rock n roll, Elvis Presley was a big karate fan often demonstrating his kicks live on stage. He trained in Kenpo Karate. Kenpo Karate or also known as American Kenpo is characterized by quick and powerful strikes. Presley loved karate and even got an 8th-degree black belt.

Hershel Walker started his sports career as a professional American-football player and was part of many NFL teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants or the Minnesota Vikings. After quitting his football career, he decided to become a mixed martial arts fighter. In 2010 and 2011 he had two professional fights before finally setting for retirement. Walker has also a fifth-degree black belt in Tae kwon-do.
